Nabila Fash, Former Wife of Oritsefemi, Plans Legal Action Against Him Over Claims of 21 Miscarriages
1 min readNabila Fash, the former spouse of Nigerian musician Oritsefemi, is considering legal recourse against him following what she deems defamatory remarks made about her in a recent interview.
During the interview with media personality Jude Chidonwo, Oritsefemi alleged that Nabila, who had previously accused him of infidelity and fathering children outside their marriage, had betrayed him despite experiencing 21 miscarriages. He claimed that she instigated friends to physically assault him in their home.
In response, Nabila, represented by her legal counsel Rockson Igelige of Rockson Legal, issued a cease and desist letter demanding Oritsefemi retract his statements, which she asserts are false and intended to harm her reputation.
Furthermore, Nabila clarified that their marriage had been judicially dissolved by the High Court of Lagos State on March 21, 2024, and warned Oritsefemi against referring to her as his wife.
Failure to comply with the demands within 14 days, as outlined in the legal communication, could result in legal action being taken against Oritsefemi for defamation.
