Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has refuted singer Eedris Abdulkareem’s claim that he regretted supporting President Tinubu, clarifying that the statement attributed to him is untrue. According to Seyi Law, the viral clip circulating on social media, where he allegedly admitted to making a big mistake by supporting Tinubu, is inaccurate.

Taking to his X account on February 19, 2024, Seyi Law vehemently denied Abdulkareem’s assertions, expressing his love for the singer but emphasizing the falsehood of his claims. In a tweet directed at @iamshortfamily, Seyi Law questioned the timing of Abdulkareem’s remarks and indicated a desire to address the issue on the mentioned show.

Furthermore, Seyi Law responded to a tweet containing a clip from his previous performance, the same show where Abdulkareem purportedly referenced Seyi Law’s regret. Seyi Law contested the accuracy of Abdulkareem’s interpretation, questioning whether the singer misconstrued a joke as reality.

It is worth noting that Seyi Law is known for his staunch support of President Tinubu and the All Progressive Party. Despite facing criticism and backlash from Nigerians for his public endorsement of the administration, Seyi Law has remained steadfast in his support. On February 19, 2024, he penned an open letter to President Tinubu via his X account, urging him to prioritize the nation’s welfare and work towards its improvement.
