Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, professionally known as Bobrisky, has kicked off his release party following his recent release from prison.
Previously, Intel Region reported that Bobrisky regained freedom on August 5th, 2024, after serving six months in prison for Naira Abuse.
On April 12th, 2024, Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine, despite his guilty plea for naira abuse. This followed his arrest on April 4th, 2024, for abusing the naira at a movie premiere for actress Eniola Ajao, where he won the best-dressed female award, sparking significant controversy in the movie industry.
Now that he has been released, Bobrisky is celebrating with a boat cruise party tonight in Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a recently shared video, Bobrisky is seen enjoying the festivities on a boat with friends, including Moyo Lawal and Eniola Ajao. Despite Eniola Ajao looking tired, Bobrisky and others were seen energetically celebrating ahead of the release party, with several bottles of Hennessy ready to be enjoyed.
