Surround Yourself With Prophets of Possibility
Yesterday, I was at a lounge watching the Chelsea vs Real Betis match. There’s something magical about watching football in the midst of true fans—the energy, the passion, the unfiltered emotions. It’s always a vibe.
Real Betis was leading 1–0 up until the 65th minute. The tension was thick, especially for Chelsea fans. But something unusual happened around the 64th minute.
Out of nowhere, a guy jumped up, yelling, “Goal ball!” and ran around the lounge. Everyone looked confused—the match was still 1–0. But just moments later, Fernández scored. The place went wild.
People started hugging him like he was a prophet. And the “prophet” didn’t stop there.
He did the same for Jackson, Sancho, and Caicedo. Each time, he celebrated before the goal—and each time, the goal followed. Chelsea won 4–1.
After the first goal, something shifted. Whenever the guy stood to celebrate, Chelsea fans stood with him—even before anything happened. And like clockwork, the goals kept coming.
By the end of the match, he was a star. Not because he had magical powers, but because he changed the atmosphere. He gave fans hope. He made them believe. And somehow, belief became fuel for results.
As an entrepreneur and a creative person, I couldn’t stop thinking about the power of that moment.
This man did in a lounge what many people fail to do in life and business: lift others up, shift energy, and inspire belief in something greater.
The second half of 2025 is like the second half of that match. You might be down. You might feel behind. But one person, one voice, one energy shifter can change everything.
This is why it’s critical who you surround yourself with.
In Numbers 13:30, when the Israelites were hesitant about entering the Promised Land, Caleb stood up and said, “Let us go up at once and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”
Same situation. Different mindset. Different outcome.
Some spies saw giants. Caleb saw opportunities.
Some fans saw a loss. One guy saw a comeback.
As we step into the second half of the year:
Be intentional about your relationships.
Surround yourself with people who speak victory in advance.
Partner with those who ignite your faith, not your fear.
Stay close to those who celebrate before the scoreboard changes.
Because sometimes, all it takes is one believer to remind you: The game isn’t over.
Let’s go and take the land.
