The popular Nigerian sitcom ‘The Johnsons’ comes to an end after a 13-year run on screen.

After entertaining audiences for an impressive 13 years, ‘The Johnsons’, a beloved Nigerian comedy series, has reached its conclusion.

Charles Inojie, known for his portrayal of Lucky Johnson, took to his official Instagram account to share the news, expressing deep appreciation. He wrote, “THANK YOU, AFRICA… THE JOHNSONS is finally taking a bow.”

Inojie recognized the unwavering dedication of the cast, crew, and loyal viewers who contributed to the show’s success over the years. He conveyed immense gratitude to fans across the African continent for their continuous support.

Prior to its conclusion, the sitcom witnessed the departure of several cast members, including Ada Ameh (Amu Johnson) in 2022 and Samuel Ajibola (Spiff), who exited for personal reasons.
